Full Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineers to join our maintenance, repair and installation teams, delivering planned gas maintenance services for our multi-site clients.

  • Basic Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Additional earnings available through overtime
  • Profit/performance related bonus, subject to achievement of targets (historically paid out)
  • Van (with option for personal use) and fuel card
  • Smartphone, tools, uniform, PPE

Responsibilities

You’ll be a key member of the gas maintenance team responsible for delivering planned and preventative gas maintenance, fault finding, repair, and installation.

We are looking for somebody with previous experience working as Commercial Gas Engineer or similar. You will enjoy working autonomously and be responsible for delivering planned and preventative gas maintenance, fault finding and repair work, as well as ensuring high levels of Health & Safety compliance at all times.

As a skilled Gas Engineer, you’ll have experience gained within a Facilities Management or Construction environment, with a proven track record of working on high profile commercial contracts, ideally within educational establishments and commercial business premises.

You’ll enjoy working in a varied environment as you’ll be out and about on the road traveling to client sites throughout your area.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • A recognised Commercial Gas Qualification
  • HVAC Knowledge
  • Valid UK driver’s license
  • “On the job” experience working as Commercial Gas Engineer role or similar.
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic.
  • Awareness and knowledge of health & safety.

Other Information:

This position has a requirement for 1 in 7 on call.
