The initial requirement was very basic from the site to carry out the service to the gas and oil boilers, we have the relevant qualified engineers to achieve this and carried an annual service to this equipment.

Reaction:
We have now held the maintenance contract since 2015 and the package provided has increased 8 fold.

Inclusive of our works are now installation work of boilers and water heaters.

South Reading Leisure Centre – Reading Borough Council.

Requirement:
Supply and install new air handling ventilation to the pool area, Duct work and electrics

Achieve:
Replace existing redundant gas fired pool air handling unit, specify and install bespoke external air handling unit. Design supply and install ductwork to penetrate building and install air distribution socks within the pool area. Supply and install all required electrical requirements

Reaction:
Site extremely happy with works carried out.

Proctor and Gamble – West Thurrock

Requirement:
Supply and install chiller pipework (tender from supplier)

Achieve:
Install new steel pipework to chiller and heat exchanger incorporating insulation of all pipework and valves.

Site pleased with results

Site:
Buzz Gym, Oxford. – New development

Requirement:
Supply and install gas fired water heaters and install sanitary ware and showers. (Tender supplied from Projects Company)

Achieve:
To design and specify plumbing requirements for a new 24/7 gym consisting of 2 x AO Smith HE has fired water heaters, 2 x DAB Esytank water booster sets, 1 x water softener , Rada shower units, basins, toilets, urinals, drinking water stations, all soil and waste installation, all hot and cold water supplies, flush and chlorination.

Reaction:
Installation completed within schedule both project company and client pleased with result.

Whitelands Primary School

Requirement:
Main plantroom refurbishment- Approach made by site due to Southern Maintenance Solutions carrying out site maintenance

Achieve:
Upgrade 1970s oil fired fired boilers, pumps, hot and cold water systems and electrical controls, design and specify plant required, put spec to client for approval, supply and install 2x ideal frame mounted HE boilers with new flue systems, new AO Smith HE has fired water heater; Twin headed KSB inverter driven pumps to feed 3 zones, all associated pipework, new compensated control system operated by trend IQ4 controller, install new 100 meter long 90mm MDPE Gas main from meter cupboard to plant room , remove old internal oil tank to allow for tank room to be converted to new store area., chemical flush and dose of heating system, flush and chlorination of new water services.

Reaction:
Site very pleased with successful result, resulting in continuation of site maintenance contract and further offers for repair and installation work.

Dear Sir,

I would like to take the time to thank your organisation for the excellent manner in which you conduct business.

We contacted SMS after being advised that you were an approved Ideal Boiler installer. From the time your Engineer visited our home to review and price the project, up to the time of installation and commissioning there was never a time we had to question why or how any works were being carried out as everything was explained to us by your Engineer. It was clear that your Engineer was a hands-on person who was very knowledgeable and we immediately was impressed with his manner and approach to us as customers.

We could not believe how the installation team carried out their work keeping the work area clean and tidy. Even though our utility room was recently renovated our old boiler was removed and the new boiler installed without incident or damage to any cupboards or flooring.

I would not hesitate in recommending SMS to anyone or organization wishing to have a new boiler installed.

I would like to say a big thank you, to yourself and the SMS maintenance team, on behalf of flat 32, 37, 39, 27, 12 and 15 for sorting out their heating, the flats are lovely and warm, and the tenants are over joyed, that finally the heating is working. Robert, thank you for taking the time visit and liaising with each tenant, that made such a difference, as the tenants felt they were being listened too, you showed compassion and understanding to each of them and their circumstances. Terry (SMS) thank you, to you and your team, Brian have finally creaked it and solved the issues. Brian did a fantastic job, he was very polite and explained clearly what the fault was and reassured the tenants that it would be fixed.
